Spicy Lime Cilantro Lamb Skewers
Main Ingredient: Lamb
Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 1kg boneless lamb shoulder, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
- The juice of 3 limes
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Cilantro sprigs, lime wedges for garnishing
Cooking Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the lime juice, minced garlic, red chili flakes, chopped cilantro, olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Add the cubed lamb to the bowl and mix until all the cubes are coated with the spice mixture. Let the meat marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the lamb cubes onto skewers.
- Cook the skewers on the preheated grill, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired level of doneness, about 10 minutes for medium.
- Let the skewers rest for a few minutes before serving.
