Cooking Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Season the turkey breasts with salt, pepper, and lemon juice, and place them in a baking dish. Drizzle a tablespoon of olive oil and maple syrup on top.
- Rinse the Brussels sprouts and cut in half. Toss them with an additional tablespoon of olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Arrange the Brussels sprouts around the turkey in the baking dish.
- Bake the turkey breasts and Brussels sprouts in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked thoroughly and the Brussels sprouts are golden brown.
- While the turkey is baking, bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in the quinoa, cover, and lower the heat to a simmer. Cook the quinoa for 15 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed and the quinoa is tender.
- Once everything is cooked, serve the turkey breasts with the roasted Brussels sprouts and cooked quinoa.
Plating:
Place a scoop of fluffy quinoa in the center of a plate, then place the turkey breast on top. Scatter the Brussels sprouts around the plate, giving it a rustic yet sophisticated feel. Drizzle a small amount of the cooking juice from the baking dish over the turkey for added flavor and juiciness. The plate would showcase a range of textures and colors, from the golden-brown turkey and the roasted Brussels sprouts to the delicate, fluffy quinoa. The finishing touch could be a dash of fresh parsley over the top for an added pop of color.
